Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is the 8 week ‘gold standard‘ mindfulness training worldwide since 1978. Dr John Patterson has taught this course 45 times over the last 14 years. We will offer a holiday version – Mindfulness for the Holidays and is in person on both Wednesdays and Thursdays through the end of the year, helping you take good care of yourself and providing social support during the holidays. We will have class for you twice a week. Class #1 is Wednesday and Thursday November 19th and 20th. Wednesday classes are drop-in, no registration required. Thursday course requires a 5 minute phone chat. Wed class meets 6:00 – 7:30 and Thursday classes meet 6:00 – 8:30. If you miss a class, you can take the other class that week.
We will also have 2-3 optional Saturday retreat classes. Course cost is by donation.

- As well as gratitude, generosity, self-massage, self-compassion, skilled relaxation, imagery and journaling
